BERCHTOLD’s latest E generation lights feature a complete redesign of the reflector system providing exceptional spot performance, up to 34 cm in size, with a uniform spread of light across the entire spot. Additionally, the new design offers excellent shadow control and deep cavity penetration.
Enhanced shadow control
For general use, the E generation is supplied with tungsten halide BRITe bulb technology which is both reliable and efficient. For the ultimate performance in open surgery procedures, particularly where the operative site is large, the lights are also available with High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) bulbs featuring Autolux which automatically adjusts the intensity of the light depending on the spot size. An all new suspension system allows for free movement of the lightheads and is compatible with the entire E generation range of lightheads. LED surgical lights have also been introduced as part of the new E generation which provide superior colour rendition. With up to 160kLux of light output the new lights are suitable for all surgical disciplines.
