EASTWOOD PARK will be promoting its extended decontamination training portfolio including the latest course to be launched – the Decontamination Lead Training course. This new five-day residential course provides the learner with the required knowledge and skills to perform the role of decontamination lead within a healthcare environment.
Decontamination training
It addresses the principles and processes of decontamination, emphasising the importance of infection prevention and control. It includes the practical operation of different types of decontamination equipment and the importance of regular testing; the equipment tender process and the principles of audit and identifying the training needs of staff working within a decontamination environment.
