3M has announced the launch of the second generation electronic test system for porous load steam sterilisers (ETS-2). Launched nearly a decade ago, the ETS is fast becoming the industry standard, high-tech alternative, for conducting the daily Bowie and Dick Test as required by current UK guidance, HTM 2010.
ETS-2 software has also been redesigned for use on modern Microsoft platforms, Vista and XP. Software development has taken into account modern software validation requirements, data security and traceability considerations and offers password protected user profiles and digital signatures.
Offering a greater range of data analysis tools, a versatile easy-to-use, searchable data base and improved graphing functions, including multiple chart overlays and master chart assignment, the ETS system enhances the performance of any modern decontamination unit.
