Solutions for tackling C. difficile

Tristel FUSE for Surfaces is rapidly replacing chlorine tablets as the disinfectant of choice in many areas. Packaged in convenient, easy to use, “burstable sachets” containing base and activator solutions, FUSE for Surfaces delivers high-level disinfection of floors, walls and general hard surfaces in hospitals. It is effective against a wide range of organisms including Clostridium difficile and is ready to use with just a single dilution.

In a novel application, co-operation between Tristel and a number of NHS Trusts has resulted in the development of daily cleaning protocols for commodes using the company’s Duo for Surfaces foam in conjunction with a cleaning wipe. Duo for Surfaces is rapidly effective against a wide range of organisms, including C. difficile and is safe to use. Together with the wipe, it provides cleaning and sporicidal disinfection in a single step.
