VANGUARD HEALTHCARE is changing its name and has called in a heavyweight advertising campaign to help make the announcement – all 25 tonnes of it. The day that the company changes its name to NUFFIELD HEALTH MOBILE SERVICES coincides with the first day of the AfPP’s 44th Annual Congress and Exhibition.
The unit is part of Nuffield Health’s national fleet of operating theatres, recovery wards, endoscopy suites and diagnostic units, which provide services to the NHS across the country.
Ian Gillespie, managing director of Nuffield Health Mobile Services, commented: “Bringing the mobile theatre to AfPP in its new colours helps to make the point that Vanguard Healthcare is now a fully-integrated service within the UK’s largest healthcare charity, Nuffield Health.”
The charity announced its new look in June to emphasise that it has been repositioning itself to offer services that go beyond the provision of hospital-based treatment, such as employee wellbeing services and mobile theatres supporting the NHS.
