The NICE Patient Warming guideline (CG65) specifically identifies the carbon polymer warming system from INDITHERM MEDICAL as a reusable alternative to existing single-use products.

According to NICE, comparing Inditherm technology with forced warm air, there is: “No significant difference in core temperature for the two warming mechanisms in a direct comparison” and the guideline also recognises that the Inditherm system does: “Not require any disposables and therefore has the potential to be more costeffective than forced air warming.”
