Special features include the Pulpmatic’s hands-free automatic lid, with non-touch infrared operation, and automatic disinfection of the internal maceration chamber. The Pulpmatic is claimed to be the first to adopt this hands-free approach, which has major benefits in reducing cross contamination and HAI’s.
