Ethicon’s antibacterial suture, Coated Vicryl Plus Suture, is effective against the bacteria that cause the majority of SSIs, including MRSA. By preventing bacterial colonisation of the suture, Coated Vicryl Plus Suture provides protection for the patient where it is needed most – right at the site of the incision.

Dermabond Topical Skin Adhesive (2-Octyl Cyanoacrylate) eliminates the need for suture removal and dressings and has a microbial barrier that seals out bacteria that could lead to infection. It provides the strength of healed tissue at seven days in less than three minutes.
