Educational event to provide insights into orthobiologics

The world’s leading experts in orthobiologics and non-surgical intervention will assemble in London to host a CPD accredited educational event for the healthcare community. The event aims to share and expand knowledge about the latest techniques in orthobiologics examining current usage, scientific evidence and providing a platform for discussion.

The event brings together the world’s leading minds in emerging non-surgical intervention techniques including PRP, MFAT, SVF and BMAC. Mr Konrad Slynarski, one of the foremost proponents of regenerative medicine and non-surgical intervention will visit London exclusively for this event. Mark Slevin will present a review on the data of biologics to date. The Regenerative Clinic is leading the way in bringing the latest advances in orthobiologic medicine to patients in the UK. This event is led by:

  • Professor Adrian Wilson is a world-renowned knee and sports injury specialist with a global reputation for knee realignment surgery (osteotomy). His surgical expertise revolves around all aspects of knee problems including trauma, sports injuries, arthritis and joint preservation surgery. His specialist interests include knee osteotomy surgery, cartilage preservation, arthroscopic ligament reconstructions and partial and total knee replacement surgery. He regularly works in partnership with Professor Adrian Wilson with whom Mr Khakha has set up The London Knee Osteotomy Centre and Children’s Knee Clinic.
  • Dr Konrad Slynarski is an experienced Knee Surgeon with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & healthcare industry. Skilled in Stem Cells, Tissue Engineering of Ligaments, Cartilage and Meniscus, Arthroscopy and Reconstructive Knee Surgery, Osteotomies, Limb-lenghtening and correction, Arthroplasty, Medical Devices and Regenerative Medicine. Strong entrepreneurship professional with a Ph.D. focused in Orthopedics/Tissue Engineering from the Medical University of Warsaw. His Ph.D. thesis was focused on “Optimization of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells and hyaluronan scaffold composites for cartilage regeneration" (1999-2002). Completed research fellowship at Skeletal Research Center of Case Western University in Cleveland, USA, with Dr. Arnold Caplan (funded by the Polish-American  Kosciuszko Foundation) (in 2001). Dr. Slynarski is currently Head of private Knee Clinic in Warsaw, Poland. He is a past President od Polish Arthroscopy Society, member of Fellowship Committee of International Cartilage Repair Society (ICRS) and Osteotomy Committee of European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery, and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).
  • Dr. Ralph Rogers is a Consultant in Regenerative Orthopedics & Sports Medicine who uses his wealth of experience to effectively tackle chronic pain and acute discomfort with innovative Regenerative Medicine treatments. His impressive resume includes global qualifications gained at some of the finest institutions in the world. A degree in Psychology at the University of Delaware was followed by medical training at the University of Leuven in Europe, and further qualifications gained at the University of Maryland, the Free University of Brussels and the University of Leicester – including a Master’s of Science (MSc) in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging and a PhD in Exercise Physiology.

Professor Adrian Wilson, The Regenerative Clinic, comments: “This is one off opportunity for people to spend one to one time with Konrad Slynerski, a leading mind in the world of non-surgical intervention. We are moving very fast in this space to evidence improvements and provide improved outcomes for patients at all stages. It is becoming clear that non-surgical intervention will play a crucial role in longevity allowing surgeons to optimise the most effective timings for patients to have their treatments. We are beginning to understand and cement the important role that these treatments will play.”
