Wassenburg Medical has expanded its decontamination portfolio into the field of room and surface disinfection.
Having delivered effective endoscope reprocessing products and solutions since 1984, the business has developed from a family company into a global player and has been at the forefront of automated endoscope reprocessing for many years.
However, in 2022, Wassenburg Medical was appointed to distribute the Oxy’Pharm Glosair HPV system, in selected markets throughout Europe. The Wassenburg Glosair is a room and surface disinfection device to treat areas up to 2000m³. The device is a safe and user-friendly alternative to disinfect rooms and surfaces that are often inaccessible and sometimes complex to be disinfected manually. The ready-to-use Wassenburg Glosair disinfection system is fully automated and is used in combination with the Glosair 400 biodegradable disinfectant. The Wassenburg Glosair is effective on bacteria, fungi, viruses, yeasts and spores.
Since the aerial disinfection process of surfaces is operated in the absence of human presence, the operation is safe for the user, provided that the requirements are met. A remote control is available for extended convenience. The remote control can be used for automatic activation of the Wassenburg Glosair with operating distance of up to 20 meters. One of the elements that make the Wassenburg Glosair easy to use is the state-of-the-art integrated touch screen. Via the touch screen you can simply record the rooms that need treatment, or adjust the volume of the room. It also allows the user to consult the history of last treatments performed.
