The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) is delighted to announce that it will be joining forces with the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) to co-deliver the flagship ABHI UK Pavilion at this year’s MEDICA Trade Fair.
The UK’s leading HealthTech trade body will once again be leading the UK’s biggest Pavilion of health technology companies at the four-day event, supporting them with the opportunity to strengthen relationships and together showcase the strengths of the UK’s world-class HealthTech industry. All UK exhibitors benefit from high-quality support from ABHI’s dedicated International team on top of one-to-one sessions with DIT commercial officers.
With the deadline for companies to take a stand at MEDICA now passed, this year's ABHI UK Pavilion will be double the size of last year – with over 30 UK’s top innovators joining to showcase their industry-leading health technologies to an international audience and network and engage with key businesses and decision-makers in the market.
New to 2022, ABHI has also partnered with Clinical Services Journal to produce the first edition of the UK Healthcare Pavilion Magazine. The dedicated magazine will include a full exhibitor directory, as well as articles and features that capture the UK’s world-class HealthTech offer. The magazine will be available to all who visit the ABHI UK Pavilion at MEDICA and will additionally be distrusted electronically to an audience of thousands.
This year will also see the addition of ABHI’s dedicated Presentation area, which is being delivered in partnership with the Welsh Government. The dedicated space will run throughout the entire show, giving exhibiting companies greater opportunities for partnership at the world’s largest event for the medical sector.
With exhibition stand space on the ABHI UK Pavilion is now fully booked, expressions of interest are still being invited from UK companies wishing to take advantage of ABHI’s dedicated Presentation zone to pitch their products and solutions to the top-class audience at MEDICA.

MEDICA takes place from 14 – 17 November 2022 in Düsseldorf. The event attracts several thousand exhibitors from more than 50 countries, and each year leading individuals from the fields of health, business, research, and policy grace this top-class event with their presence, to meet with national and international experts and decision-makers from the sector.
