Figures of 5.5 on heavily soiled instruments and 6.6 on lightly soiled instruments were reported. This ’side effect disinfection’ phenomenon is achieved through the creation of very high temperatures created by the natural mechanics of ultrasonic cavitation. Advanced ultrasonics enhances the creation of the micro-jets that deliver these temperatures to deliver incredibly consistent bacteria removal. The temperatures created are about 46 times hotter than boiling water.
