The Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust has recently expanded the new technology Agfa HealthCare NX 2.0 Computed Radiography (CR) equipment across all departments.
Radiology capabilities expanded by Trust
The Trust is one of the first in the UK to upgrade from the earlier QS technology to NX 2.0 and has enabled it to streamline the radiographic process; allowing images to be identified, annotated and reviewed from the same workstation. The A&E and Outpatient departments have already been operational with Agfa HealthCare's PRIDS/QS system for the last five years, and the recent installation builds on this existing relationship.
