The long latency period for vCJD and its relatively widespread distribution in the body together warrant the need for preventative measures to reduce potential iatrogenic transmission.
The non-corrosive, environmentally sound solution eliminates the need for harsh chemicals that can pose harm to instruments and workers. Prionzyme is designed for use as a single-step soak, manually or automated in washer/disinfectors.
