Lancer has also developed a manifold device that enables clean scopes to be transferred from the washer disinfector (AER) to drying and storage without any subsequent handling of the endoscopes. This will significantly reduce the risk of cross-contamination and follows extensive consultation and feedback from users.
Until now, channel connectors and tubing had to be detached and re-attached to the scope for drying and storage, risking crossinfection among all scopes in storage together. The manifold is a simple yet innovative solution to help prevent this risk and keeps scopes decontaminated.
