Training fellowships for endovascular therapies launched

The British Society of Endovascular Therapy (BSET) has announced the society’s first Endovascular fellowships for vascular surgeons and radiologists.

The training offered to the successful candidates will bring together the two disciplines of radiology and vascular surgery, providing trainees with an understanding of the very latest vascular technology so they can provide best practice endovascular therapy.

Sponsored by Cook Medical, the three fellowships, worth a total of £150,000, will provide 6 months of training for three doctors. The training will take place at three Centres of Excellence in endovascular practice, to be selected by BSET. The fellowships will be advertised on the BSET website (www.bset.co.uk) in due course.
