SONOSITE has announced that its SonoMB imaging technology is now available on its curved array probes, extending this technology to a broad range of examination types in emergency medicine, critical care, anaesthesia and GP surgeries.
Application expansion for imaging
SonoMB technology is a proprietary imaging algorithm that improves contrast resolution and reduces ultrasound artefact, while providing excellent frame rates and image quality. The technology has now been integrated into four additional transducers, the C60e, C11e, L38e and SLA, to offer expanded application for abdominal, vascular, musculoskeletal and small parts imaging, as well as for guidance of regional nerve blocks and placement of central lines. Users can easily and securely upgrade their MicroMaxx systems with these new capabilities via a compact flash card at no extra charge, and new instruments incorporating these advances are already available.
