Training in endoscope re-processing

Constant developments in endoscope reprocessing technology are making it possible to decontaminate equipment faster and more effectively than ever before. However, for this new technology to be as efficient as possible, training must also be provided to show healthcare professionals exactly how to get the best from the equipment they are being required to operate.

STERILOX ENDOSCOPY is one such company that recognises the need to train healthcare workers in using their equipment and realises that hospitals may not have the funding available to do so. They currently run an in depth training course, with no initial charge to their customers, to show healthcare professionals how to operate their endoscopy re-processors safely and effectively. The course is also designed to ensure that each hospital with Sterilox endoscopy equipment has at least two members of its own staff that has in-depth knowledge of the Sterilox generator and reprocessor they operate, allowing them to trouble shoot on site and reduce possible down time of equipment.
