Customised procedure trays deliver savings

Sourcing high quality disposable products from a global base of suppliers, CalMed’s goal is to offer theatre staff a CPT that contains the full range of disposable product needed during specialised procedures. Packing and sterilisation, under ISO 13485 9001 Standards, are undertaken at the company’s Belshill site. CalMed hopes to benefit theatre teams by enabling significant savings through reduced theatre/procurement/ supplies management costs, as well as reducing theatre set-up times, improving quality of care and decreasing infection control risks.
