SterilPlus has won the contract to provide a complete decontamination service for medical instruments used in BMI Healthcare’s three hospitals in Scotland.
Scottish hospitals outsource decontamination
The company’s facility, Jubilee Court, in Glasgow, is handling sterilisation and decontamination of all surgical instruments for Ross Hall Hospital, Glasgow, the Fernbrae Hospital in Dundee and the Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen. In addition to the Glasgow facility, SterilPlus has a facility in Manchester, and is planning another four new build facilities in England. This will forma national network for fully compliant sterile services.
