£5 million invested in women’s health clinic

An independent investment manager has invested £5 million in The Evewell, a fully-integrated centre of medical excellence dedicated to caring for and protecting all aspects of fertility and gynaecological health.

The centre, which opened on Harley Street in London in November 2018, focuses on both gynaecology and reproductive health to ensure that fertility patients receive the most appropriate treatment and advice to maximise their prospects of conceiving. It offers a fully integrated suite of women’s health services that differentiates it from other clinics. The clinic is equipped with the latest technologies for screening and treatment, and is set in a discreet and luxurious environment that provides a best-in-class service.

Albion Capital’s investment will enable The Evewell to cater for rapidly growing demands for fertility treatments driven by societal and demographic trends, including couples waiting longer to have children, rising infertility, increases in treatments for same sex couples and more widespread genetic testing and egg freezing.

The Evewell is led by medical director Colin Davis, a renowned surgeon in laparoscopic and endoscopic treatments, with a focus on quality of service provision and a commitment to addressing a gap in the market for holistic fertility treatments. Its medical team are leaders in their field and includes Dr Dimitri Psaroudakis and Dr Moses Batwala, consultants in fertility and gynaecology and Dr Christian Ottolini, laboratory director.

Colin Davis, medical director, The Evewell, added: “The Evewell is the first of its kind in London. A fully integrated centre for fertility and gynaecology with an individualised patient focused approach which is key to delivering first class medical care. We are delighted to be working with Albion to bring a centre of this kind to London.”
