BES Healthcare to bring New Standards of Decontamination following Distribution Agreement with RehaWash Systems

BES Healthcare Ltd has signed a new distribution agreement with German-based decontamination specialist RehaWash Systems at this year’s Rehacare show in Dusseldorf.

BES Healthcare’s International Supply Chain Manager, Dirk ter Haar and RehaWash System’s Managing Director, Ronald van de Grift have signed a new distribution agreement last month to supply RehaWash equipment washers across the UK.

RehaWash cleaning and disinfection systems are currently distributed across Europe to decontaminate equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, and commodes. The RehaWash washers and dryers are currently the only machines of their kind to meet ISO 15883-1.

The new partnership aims to bring the machines to a new level of compliance to meet ISO 15883-7. This means a high level of decontamination will be available to estates and hotel services within hospitals.

The washers are programmable to suit the individual’s washing needs, allowing for an accurate calculation of water, detergent, and in turn costs. Additionally, the equipment washers help to speed up the process of cleaning equipment, meaning items can be put back into operation more quickly.

BES Healthcare distributes the full range of RehaWash machines, which includes everything from washers for single wheelchairs to bed washers, and large tunnel washer-drier combo systems.

The RehaWash machines are the latest solutions offered by BES Healthcare in their 25th year of introducing innovative products to the UK healthcare market.
