Strong and elastic haemostatic gauze

Surgeons using this haemostatic gauze for the first time have found that it is both strong and elastic. “The initial reactions of UK surgeons have been fantastic as the product handles extremely well, even laparascopically,” commented Uniplex managing director Adriaan Posthuma.

Also available is GeliPutty, a powder-based product made of gelatine which, being a natural substance, is easily absorbed. The powder is mixed to form a putty-like paste which when combined with its haemostatic properties allows the surgeon to perform difficult procedures.
