Thermosept X-tra from SCHÜLKE– experts in infection prevention and control – is a mildly alkaline detergent designed for the automated cleaning of medical instruments.
Based on a combination of surfactants and enzymes, thermosept X-tra offers outstanding cleaning performance; even at low doses it removes organic contaminants such as blood, proteins, tissue residues as well as mucus and fatty impurities. It is formulated to provide optimum compatibility with a broad range of materials, even particularly sensitive ones such as anodized aluminum and non-ferrous metal. Thermosept X-tra can be used in washer/ disinfectors and multi-chamber washer/ disinfectors for the cleaning of medical and surgical instruments, micro-instruments (including robot instruments) and ophthalmological instruments. With a pH-value of >10, thermosept X-tra provides a low foaming formula, a 10-minute cleaning time and efficacy even at low concentrations.
