Radiology departments now have the means to obtain higher quality prints of X-rays at a faster pace with the Sony FilmStation that is said to reinvent dry print imaging to save time, space and money.
Further flexibility is provided with the Sony Dual Tray FilmStation imager, which adds a second output tray to accommodate multiple film sizes.
Phil Robinson, radiology service manager at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead, said: “To allow us to work as effectively as possible in a busy working environment, we decided to purchase innovative equipment such as the Sony FilmStation. We’ve been very pleased with the device, because it is so easy to install due to its small size and shape, which does not detract from the speed with which it produces high quality prints. We also liked the fact that M.A.S. Medical included maintenance for the unit with no additional maintenance contract.”
