BVM MEDICAL, distributor of advanced interventional devices for radiologists and cardiologists, has launched the EmboCath Plus infusion micro-catheter as part of its fully integrated Embosphere system for optimal embolic performance.
The EmboCath is presented in two lengths: 100 cm and 135 cm.
Also available is the Sequitor steerable guidewire that is designed to be used in conjunction with the EmboCath. It has a long distal tip of 3 cm that is said to facilitate straightforward pelvic and visceral anatomy access and enable better navigation through tortuous vessels of the vasculature. The highly visible distal segment consists of a platinum coil combined with a radiopaque loaded polymer for good fluoroscopic visibility. Smooth navigation is aided by the Passthru hydrophilic coating. It is available in 165 cm lengths.
