GAMBRO HOSPAL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gambro AB, has introduced a 500 litre Bag-in-Box for the central delivery of haemodialysis acid concentrate to a renal unit.
The Bag-in-Box is delivered securely on a palette that weighs 600 kg. The bag is made from strong polyethylene and the pH of the solution is 2 to 2.6 with a dilution ratio of 1:35. The bag comes equipped with a set of three-part connectors for easy dispensing of the acid concentrate.
The concentrate is available in a variety of strengths with varying compositions. A full datasheet is available that provides details of the 13 concentrates that are of standard formulation. More compositions are available on request to provide the opportunity for custom building.
