Warwick SASCo is supplying a number of NHS Trusts with single-use sterile pack components after responding to a nationwide shortage.
According to the company, a country-wide disruption of single-use sterile packs supply has affected service levels of NHS Trusts.
An NHS Supply Chain statement of May 2017 advised all Trusts to look at the procedure packs that are available to order on the NHS Supply Chain Framework and order them in the usual manner. Darby Booth, managing director of Warwick SASCo said: “Several Trusts are struggling. We have been asked to urgently supply additional products. We always try to deliver next day to UK hospitals so their procedures are not delayed.”
In response to the problem Warwick SASCo is offering free trial sets of Autoclavable Single-Use components from their SteriLite range.
