Oakapple Medical Services has acquired the premises and equipment of Euromedicare at Towers Avenue, Jesmond.
Oakapple Medical Services also plans to invest in Newcastle Clinic in order to expand the range of services, and offer these in a contemporary and comfortable environment.
Commenting on the purchase, Philip Taylor, chairman of the Oakapple Group, said: “Having spoken with a number of consultants in the Newcastle area it is clear that there is a considerable requirement locally for high quality consulting rooms and the range of services that can be provided by Newcastle Clinic. Although the substantial need for these services was once satisfied by Euromedicare, the use of the clinic by consultants had reduced in recent times. Our aim is that the changes we are making in the new clinic will provide the best independent consulting rooms in the area and that consultants will feel confident in using the facilities and services at Towers Avenue.”
