Disney characters on masks

KIMBERLY-CLARK HEALTH CARE has introduced a new child-sized face mask featuring four Disney characters.

The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that patients with undiagnosed respiratory symptoms wear a face mask in waiting rooms to protect themselves and those around them.

In support of the CDC universal respiratory etiquette strategy, Kimberly-Clark Health Care has introduced this child-size face mask designed specifically to fit the smaller facial features of children and is ideal for children aged three and up. Until now, a child’s only option has been to wear an adult surgical mask, which does not provide the fit, comfort and protection children need.

The Kimberly-Clark child’s face mask is recommended for use by children who are immuno-compromised, have flu-like symptoms and are visiting hospital patients. They feature Disney characters on the mask’s outer facing to provide a sense of familiarity and encourage compliance, use soft, lightweight materials for comfort, have comfortable knitted ear loops, a formable nose wire for a custom fit on small faces, and are latex-free.
