An initiative to keep patients and visitors informed about MRSA and other healthcareassociated infections is being launched by the charity MRSA Action UK.
Designed to provide both patients, public and healthcare providers with concise and coherent information, the booklet has received support from hygiene specialists Talley Environmental Care.
Formed in 2005, MRSA Action UK is a registered charity supporting sufferers and their families who have contracted healthcare associated-infections. Its work includes campaigning for improvements to the provision of healthcare, including adequate nurse/patient ratios, cleanliness in healthcare environments and the provision of improved information for patients.
