A new disposable curtain system has been designed to help control infection by making it economical and easy to change patient bed curtains as often as bed linen.
The curtains comply with the same fire-retardant standards as conventional curtains.
Marlux curtains are available in a range of colours and are opaque, which ensures patient privacy. Each curtain comes in a protective sleeve with pre-fitted hooks for a quick and hygienic installation. The sleeve is removed only when the curtain is in position. In most cases existing tracks can be adapted or purpose-built tracks can be installed.
Specially designed labelling provides the facility to audit the curtain change frequency and each curtain can be taken down and refitted in two to three minutes per bed space.
