Helicobacter TestINFAIis a breath test for direct, non-invasive detection of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori.
It is specifically designed for convenient use in both hospitals and by general practice. It is a registered medicinal product, and was approved by the European Commission in 1997 for all 15 member states and was subsequently accepted by many other countries outside the European Union. Helicobacter Test INFAI has now become a standard diagnostic tool and is claimed to be the most used C-urea breath test worldwide.
Analysis of all INFAI Breath Test kits is performed at the INFAI laboratory in York. Fast and efficient service enables results to be communicated in a timely manner, and in the format of choice. As well as the standard Helicobacter Test INFAI for adults and adolescents from the age of 12, the Helicobacter Test INFAI for children aged 3 to 11 years is also available.
