Many different adaptors are being used to connect blood pressure cuffs to monitor hoses but, according to Henleys Medical, the Nipset is the only BP connection system CE marked as a medical device.
It is said to eliminate the need for double hose cuffs, making ordering and stockholding simpler, and allows the movement of patients form one monitoring area to another without removing the cuff. The system is said to be price comparable to any other connector system on the market, and simply “clicks” apart.
Featuring a guaranteed air-tight fit once it clicks shut, the system has no “o” rings to disintegrate, no screw fitting to crossthread, no moveable parts to break and no metal plastic to wear away.
