Nuffield Health has selected the FUJIFILM Amulet Innovality for its mammography facility at the state-of-the-art diagnostic suite situated in Citylabs, Manchester.
The Fujifilm Amulet Innovality is proving popular with the not-for-profit health group as Sue Oliver, Professional head of mammography, explains:
“Nuffield Health installed seven Fujifilm Amulet Innovality systems in 2015...The units are compact and of a contemporary design which updates any mammography room. From a user point of view the controls are ergonomic and easy to use, and the benefits of the flexible paddle are amazing, offering good levels of compression while being acceptable to the patient. Feedback from radiologists has been positive with a reported reduction in the number of extra and magnified views which is all good news for the patient. We look forward to using the tomosynthesis mode in the near future.”
Nuffield Health Manchester Diagnostic Suite will be the first of the Nuffield sites to utilise the Innovality’s Dual Mode Tomosynthesis function, which allows the Tomosynthesis angle to be optimised to best answer the clinical requirement. The Amulet Innovality technology also includes FUJIFILM’s patented Hexagonal Close Pattern detector which produces exceptionally high definition and low noise images while maintaining low doses.
