MEDIMARK SCIENTIFIC will be showcasing a full suite of CE marked class IIa and IIb biocides, including its new CHEMGENE HOCL2000 biocide, a rapidly sporicidal biocide for medical devices. CHEMGENE HOCL2000 has been extensively tested by HIRL and commands a one minute efficacy against Clostridium difficile, even in dirty conditions.
The HOCL2000 chemistry is less oxidising than many leading alternatives and will be more economical in use. The product is supplied in a ready to use trigger spray and rapid activating sporicidal wipe. The company has invested significantly in its medical device registration programme and its products are now supplied by Bunzl Healthcare and under the NHS Supply Chain framework agreement.
