SUREWASH is an e-learning kiosk using gesture recognition technology to deliver hand-hygiene training – all staff can have their technique validated using SureWash without the presence of a trainer being required.
The system is an additional member of the Infection Control Team, working 24/7, bringing hand-hygiene training to the wards, and empowers all staff to manage their own hand-hygiene training, allowing infection control staff to focus on other duties. Card reader functionality provides an audit trail for management, with easy to use reporting, while questionnaire functionality allows for short burst learning, reinforcing key messages and identifying knowledge gaps.
