These changes enhance what is already a high-performing and reliable machine – combining efficient reprocessing technology with clean/contaminated separation, as well as low air leakage between the clean and contaminated area.
Process Manager, Wassenburg’s proprietary software, can also be used to help hospital endoscopy departments achieve best practice. Decontamination units in many parts of the UK are already using the programme to safely and securely carry out a number of key tasks including:
- Registration and real-time monitoring of the processes in Wassenburg washerdisinfectors and drying cabinets.
- Providing full traceability data relating to patient, scope and process operator.
- The tracking of all endoscopes in use in realtime.
