KIMAL’S customised procedure packs have been supporting cardiology and radiology departments around the world since the early nineties and the UK based company is committed to manufacturing top quality, innovative products at its premises in Bromsgrove, West Midlands.
This financial year, Kimal has surpassed its target and has manufactured over one million packs since April 2014. Kimal procedure packs are manufactured in four Class 8 clean rooms and sterilised offsite using ETO. Kimal has an extensive range of qualified medical grade components and considerable experience with assembly processes and test equipment.
Kimal’s one millionth procedure pack was presented to St Thomas’ Hospital in London by Kimal CEO, Alan Press on Thursday 2 April. The Catheterisation Lab at St Thomas’ Hospital was one of Kimal’s first customers back in the early days and both parties have a strong relationship. In 1992, St Thomas’ Hospital and Kimal forged this relationship to create the UK’s first catheterisation lab procedure pack.
