PROACT Temperature Monitoring range includes the Bokang non-contact infrared Forehead Thermometer. Offering non-invasive measurement of temperature, via infrared technology, the product has two measuring modes: body temperature and surface/ambient. This thermometer is extremely easy to use – users simply point and press the device within 2 cm - 5 cm of the patient’s forehead for a reading.
The thermometer comes with a battery saving feature which automatically turns the thermometer off after seven seconds and there is no need for probe covers, eliminating the associated costs.
The device also offers benefits in terms of infection control. The thermometer is available direct from PROACT Medical or via NHS Supply Chain.
