GAMA HEALTHCARE is the only company in the UK to have been awarded Department of Health (DH) ‘RRP’ Category One Status for its Clinell alcoholic 2% chlorhexidine wipes.
The Government Health Protection Agency created the RRP in 2004 to help prevent and lower healthcare-associated infection (HCAI) rates in the NHS. It is run by an independent panel of UK infection control experts to judge the benefits of products at the request of the DH.
Clinell alcoholic 2% chlorhexidine wipes are disposable wipes for the disinfection of non-invasive medical devices. They are pre-saturated with 70% isopropyl alcohol and 2% chlorhexidine gluconate, conforming to the current EPIC 3 guidance (IVAD30).
The wipes provide fast-acting and long-lasting antimicrobial action with good residual activity.
