The Healthcare Infection Society (HIS) and Infection Prevention Society (IPS) Spring Meeting will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, Birmingham, 8 April 2014.
The conference, 'What’s That Coming Over the Hill? Rising to the Challenge of Multi-Resistant Gram Negative Rods', provides a specialist education forum for nurses and doctors working within infection prevention and control, microbiology and infectious diseases.
Renowned speakers will cover a range of topics, to include: Controlling a National Outbreak of CRE in Israel, Dissecting the Epidemiology of the Enterobacteriaceae and Non Fermenters, Infection Prevention Control in an Acute Setting, Dealing with Multidrug-Resistant Acinetobacter and Stenotrophomonas, Decontamination of Instruments, Equipment and the Environment, Controversy – Decolonisation and Staff Screening.
