At the annual conference of the Institute of Decontamination Sciences in Blackpool, MMM UK introduced its new state-of-the-art training facility together with a suite of AVM training courses designed around the benefits available at this new facility.
AVM Services is a decontamination specialist and, combined, the two companies can offer training programmes that are effective, significant and applicable to the prevailing demands of relevant authorities. It is envisaged that course participants will be updated and knowledgeable on the prevailing decontamination expectations, practices and procedures and the training will include the use of the latest decontamination and sterilisation equipment, tools and technologies. Participants will also benefit from the familiarisation programme on the latest control, independent monitoring and track and trace systems. The first course to be held at the facility, will be a five-day Washer Disinfector Annual Testing – Competent Person (Decontamination) course, starting on the 3 February 2014. The training courses will include the range of courses expected within the decontamination sector, as well as customised courses for washer disinfectors to decontamination of reusable medical devices – either at the facility, or at the client’s own site.
