Healthcare simulation recognised

There was an addition to the Limbs & Things banner at this year's Medica exhibition as earlier this year, the Bristol based company’s work in the field of healthcare simulation was recognised in the form of a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.

Medica was an opportunity to see the latest addition to the Limbs & Things portfolio – a Breast Examination trainer for self examination and clinical assessment.  Unique to this model is the ability to change the location of the pathologies in either breast, allowing trainers to vary and increase the difficulty of challenges for trainees .

Also on show was the recently released Chest Drain and Needle Decompression model, the Standard Venepuncture Arm and SutureTutorPlus – a popular online package complemented by a Hands-on Kit to facilitate best practice.
