Tristel Trio Trace launched at Infection Prevention 2013

TRISTEL showcased its hospital healthcare range and launched a brand new product at the Infection Prevention Society annual conference in London.

Stand G18 was the stage for the launch of Tristel Trio Trace, a three-part decontamination system for non-lumened medical devices. It consists of Pre-Clean, Sporicidal and Rinse Wipes and a barcode traceability unit called Tristel Trace. It takes the best principles of the widely used Tristel Wipes System and enhances it through automated validation of the procedure. Trio Trace data can also be integrated with electronic patient records. Tristel says its Trio Trace is the quickest, safest and most effective decontamination system available today. It 'increases turnaround of instruments and allows for compliance with guidelines', ensuring best practice in infection control.

The Tristel Sporicidal Wipe is based on the company’s proprietary chlorine dioxide chemistry and is rapidly effective against all microorganisms, including spores, with a contact time of only 30 seconds and according to European Norms. Testing data shows that the Tristel Sporicidal Wipe is far superior to any other method.
The chlorine dioxide chemistry is well-documented in various national and international guidelines, publications and case studies.

Tristel’s hospital healthcare range has been designed for the effective decontamination of instruments, surface disinfection and water treatment. The company serves areas that include ENT, Cardiology, OBGY, IVF and Urology. Tristel’s chlorine dioxide-based disinfection products have an unblemished safety record of almost 20 years.
