Endoscopy services throughout the UK could benefit from a new technology introduced by endoscopy equipment provider, IMOTECH MEDICAL.
The new system, known as Synapse NX from Fujifim, is set to increase the efficiency and handling of information transfer, retrieval and evaluation of endoscopy records, increasing efficiency. Available exclusively through Imotech, the digital storage system is said to integrate completely with hospital workflows and departments so that they can share digital images (photo and video) taken from screening procedures, eliminating the need to physically transport hard copies of documents between departments. In addition, the system schedules appointments, records high definition images and videos, and provides a comprehensive reporting process to help remove the risk of vital data loss. The function is still able to operate and record images even if there is no live network connection available.
