SureWash, from GLANTA, is designed to electronically deliver and measure hand hygiene training and assessment without the need for a trainer being present.
SureWash targets the spread of infection by reducing the cost and complexity of hand hygiene training and compliance measurement. The system simultaneously counts events and measures the quality of the individual hand hygiene event. Training sessions are recorded and the quality of the activity within each session is evaluated with feedback in real-time to assist the staff member in attaining the best possible outcome from the training. For the first time, SureWash, in using an agreed standard, can deliver hand hygiene compliance statistics for the application of technique across a healthcare facility.
