Sanitising gel

Infections such as norovirus increase healthcare costs and time, so improving hand hygiene compliance is one way to both lower costs and improve patient safety.

GOJO’s Purell Hand Sanitising Gel VF481 is proven effective against the winter vomiting virus, and other enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, according to EN 14476. Its broad spectrum antiviral formulation means that Purell VF481 is effective against most viruses including those which traditionally have been difficult to kill with standard hand rubs and sanitisers. It is more than 99.99% effective against many viruses, thus reducing the number of virus particles on hands, and consequently reducing the chance of spreading infection and reducing outbreaks. It is also skin friendly – clinical tests show that it is as mild to the skin as baby oil.
