SYNOPTICS HEALTH, a new division of Synoptics, a manufacturer of digital imaging systems for scientific applications, has announced the introduction of its ProReveal Test – a rapid in situ fluorescence-based method of detecting proteins on surgical instruments.
The patented, ultra-sensitive ProReveal Test combines an integrated ProReveal Protein Test Kit and ProReveal Viewer, with an easy-to-use touch screen and software. In just two simple ‘spray and see’ steps, users can detect nanogram levels of protein contamination, in less than five minutes. The ProReveal Test has been developed over four years, in partnership with scientists at Queen Mary University of London, and is now available in the UK from PESKETT SOLUTIONS.
