R-BIOPHARM AG is a developer of test solutions for clinical diagnostics. The German parent company has developed and manufactured clinical diagnostic kits since 1993 and the company is now represented in 90 countries by a series of subsidiaries and distributors.
Its products include lateral flow tests that can be used at pointof- care, to highly sensitive laboratory-based molecular diagnostics. The company is a key provider of rapid tests for enteric pathogens including norovirus and C. difficile. The Rida Gene kits are based on real-time PCR technology and include diagnostics for hospital-acquired infections, respiratory viruses and enteric pathogens. The Rida Gene kits can be used on most popular real-time platforms and all kits have internal controls. All RBiopharm kits are CE marked and regularly evaluated in UK NEQAS and QCMD quality assessment schemes.
